None of the sports stars you will read about below have any special physical attributes that are apparent to the eye. In fact all are slightly shorter than the average height. Yet they all possess skill and are top-notch athletes in their respective sports.
skating Figure Skaters:
Max Aaron was born in Scottsdale AZ on Feb. 25, 1992. The 5'8" (1.73 Meters) Aaron had the highlight of his career as he won the bronze medal in the Skate America competition in 2013. He is currently studying at the University of Colorado.
skating Jason Brown, who hails from LA, will be 20 years old in December, 2014. The student of finance at the University of Colorado, who is 5'7" (1.70 Meters) won a bronze team medal in the 2014 Olympic Games.
skating Sasha Cohen, who hails from California, too, will be 30 years old at the end of October, 2014. Though she is just 5'2" (1.58 Meters), she is one of the World's greatest figure skaters. She started out as a gymnast when she was a young girl, but the ice rink is where she has left her mark. Sasha's most memorable moment came when she won the silver medal in the 2006 Winter Olympics. The graduate of Columbia University has performed in the Stars on Ice show, as well as having made appearances on TV and in movies.

Jacob Micflikier was born on July 11, 1984 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. At 5'8" (1.73 Meters) and 180 lbs. (82 Kg), he is outsized by most hockey players, yet he had an impressive college career at the University of New Hampshire, and later in the AHL, where he played for 6 seasons. Thus far in the 2014-15 season, Micflikier has scored 7 points (4 goals and 3 assists) in 7 games for Linkopings HC of the Swedish Hockey League.
   
ice hockey Brett Sterling was born in LA on April 24, 1984. After playing for Colorado College, the 5'7" (1.70 Meters), 175 lbs. (79 Kg) dynamo played in the AHL. In 2006-07 he totally dominated the action on the ice for the Chicago Wolves, accumulating 97 points (55 goals and 42 assists) in 77 games, and proving he was a force to be reckoned with, as he was assessed 96 penalty minutes. Additionally, he recorded a +14 rating for the season. Sterling has scored 9 points (5 goals and 4 assists) in 30 games in the NHL. In just 7 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2010-11, he recorded 5 points (3 goals and 2 assists) and 16 penalty minutes. Thus far in the 2014-15 season, Sterling is shining with Salzburg EC of the Austrian hockey league with 12 points (5 goals and 7 assists) in 6 games.
