Baseball (MLB):
2016 was a good season for Jewish Major League Baseball players. Danny Valencia, third baseman for the Oakland A's, had a .287 batting average, with 17 home-runs and 51 runs-batted-in. Kevin Pillar, center-fielder for the Toronto Blue Jays, batted .266 with 7 HR and 53 RBI. Joc Pederson, center-fielder for the LA Dodgers, batted .246 with 25 HR and 68 RBI. Alex Bregman, third baseman for the Houston Astros, batted .264 with 8 HR and 34 RBI. Manager Brad Ausmus led the Detroit Tigers to an 86-75 won-loss record in 2016.

Morgan Pressel has made the cut in 15 of 21 events in 2016. She has a 72.11 scoring average for 71 rounds and has earned $366,294 with 2 top-10 finishes this year. Laetitia Beck has made the cut in just 6 of 20 events in her second year on tour. She had a 72.67 scoring average for 52 rounds and has earned $61,814 on the links this year.
