nba Basketball (NBA):
On November 5, Omri Casspi scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench as the Sacramento Kings crowned the Denver Nuggets 131-109. On November 7, he scored 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 11 minutes of playing time as the Kings burned the Suns 114-112 in double- overtime. Casspi has scored 44 points and grabbed 23 rebounds in the first 6 games this season, and he has shown marked improvement at the free-throw line, nailing 18 of 19 attempts. The Kings have a 5-1 won-loss record thus far.
bowling Women's Collegiate Ten-pin Bowling:
On November 8, Liat Vizenfeld rolled a 193 to help the Fairleigh Dickinson University Knights to a 3-1 won-loss record in the first day of competition in the NEC Meet #1 of the season. The event is taking place at Wallingford Bowl in Wallingford, CT.

Women's Golf (LPGA):
Morgan Pressel shot a pair of 67s in the Mizuno Classic, and her 10-under-par three-round total of 206 catapulted her into a tie for 4th place for the event. She has made the cut in 22 of 27 events she has played in 2014, and has a 71.379 scoring average. Pressel has three top-10 finishes this year, and 48 of her 95 rounds in 2014 have been under par.

ahl Ice Hockey (AHL):
Carter Camper recorded two assists in the Binghamton Senators 3-1 victory on the road over the Rochester Americans on November 7. Camper has one goal, three assists and two penalty minutes in 13 games this season for Binghamton.
