Basketball (NBA): Jordan Farmar, who previously played in the NBA and was on two championship teams with the Lakers, has been signed to a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. On March 21 he scored 12 points and grabbed 3 rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench as the Grizzlies beat the Suns in Phoenix 103-97. On March 22 he scored 8 points and dished off 5 assists in 31 minutes off the bench, as the Grizzlies lost to the Lakers in LA 100-107. On March 25, Farmar was in the starting rotation and he scored 11 points and dished off 5 assists in 23 minutes, as the Grizzlies lost to the Spurs in San Antonio, 104-110. On March 23, Omri Casspi scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 26 minutes, off the bench, but it was to no avail as the Sacramento Kings lost to the Timberwolves in Minnestota, 104-113. On March 25, the Kings beat the Suns at home, 116-94. Casspi scored 7 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished off 5 assists in 30 minutes off the bench in that game. |

Shay Doron scored 8 points for Ashdod in that game. Also on March 24, Maccabi Ramat Chen beat Ramat HaSharon 67-54 to go up 2:0 in their series. Naama Shafir scored 6 points for Ramat Chen in that game. |
