Basketball (NBA):

On March 20, Omri Casspi led all the bench players with 15 points and 5 rebounds in 19 minutes of playing time, as the Sacramento Kings beat the Knicks in NY, 88-80. On March 21, Casspi scored 7 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished off 3 assists in 22 minutes, but it was to no avail, as the Kings lost to the Bulls in Chicago, 102-109.

Women's Basketball (Israeli Elite League):

On March 21, Maccabi Ramat Chen beat Ramat HaSharon 79-76 in overtime to take a 1-0 lead in the semi-finals of the league playoffs. Naama Shafir scored 9 points for Ramat Chen. Shay Doron scored 8 points, but it was to no avail, as Ashdod went down to Bnot Herzliya, 68-75.

NHL:

Mike Cammalleri will not return to action for the remainder of the season due to a hand injury. His 38 points (14 goals and 24 assists) in 42 games this season for the NJ Devils gives him 582 points in his NHL career, 161 points behind Mathieu Schneider's career total of 743 points. In other NHL hockey action, Mike Brown has 1 goal, 1 assist and 23 penalty minutes in 10 games since being traded from the San Jose Sharks to the Montreal Canadiens. This season he has 2 goals, 3 assists, and 86 penalty minutes in 54 games. On March 21, Zach Hyman found the net in the 2nd period and scored his 4th NHL goal in a dozen games for the Toronto Maple Leafs, as they extinguished the Calgary Flames 5-2. Hyman also has one assist this season for the Leafs.
