Basketball (NBA): On March 16, Omri Casspi got another chance to start the game for the Kings at home in Sacramento. They were no match for the Atlanta Hawks, who soared over them by a score of 110-103. Casspi had an excellent game nonetheless, scoring 16 points and grabbing 5 rebounds in 36 minutes of playing time. |

Women's Collegiate Ten-pin Bowling: Israel's "lady of the lanes," Liat Vizenfeld, was named "most outstanding bowler" of the ECAC championships, as her team, the Fairleigh Dickinson University Knights captured their second straight title in the event, held in Elmwood, NJ. |

Amateur Ten-pin Bowling: Reuven Ovadia, who averages 189.57 in the Modi'in Sunday Night Bowling League at Planet Bowling in Rishon LeZion, pounded the pins with a barrage of strikes, rolling games of 248, 239 and 210 for a 697 series on March 15. Fifteen year old Eyal Damari proved he can play with the big boys, as he toppled the pins with scores of 235, 205 and 187 for a 627 series on March 8. |

Ice Hockey (AHL): On March 15, Carter Camper recorded a goal and 3 assists to help his team, the Binghamton Senators beat the Adirondack Flames in Glens Falls, NY in a high-scoring game, 8-7 in overtime. Camper now has 44 points (13 goals and 31 assists) in 62 games this season. |
