Men's Basketball (NBA)--Since the game on March 1, when Omri Casspi scored
16 points in 15 minutes, he hasn't gotten much playing time at all, playing in just
3 of 6 games. On March 5 and 7, he played just 2 and 8 minutes respectively, and
did not score at all. On March 13, the Rockets were grounded by the Chicago
Bulls, 87-111 and Casspi scored 4 points in 10 minutes off the bench. |

Women's Basketball (Israeli Elite League)--Naama Shafir helped her team win the
State Cup tournament, as Elitzur Ramle defeated Ashdod 61-57 in the final game
on March 6. Naama's stats total included 9 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in 32
minutes of playing time. In league action, Ramle defeated Ramat HaSharon by
a score of 77-60 on March 12, and Shafir had 12 points. Ramle takes on Maccabi
Ramat Chen in the semi-final series. |

Women's Collegiate Ten-pin Bowling--Liat Vizenfeld helped her team, the Fairleigh
Dickinson University Knights to victories in the two events they played in March.
On March 1-2, FDU had a 12-3 won-loss record in the North East Conference meet
#3 of the season in Mineola, NY. On March 7-9, FDU finished in 4th place out of
29 teams in the Columbia 300 Music City Classic, hosted by Vanderbilt University
in Smyrna, TN. The Knights had a 9-6 won-loss record in the event. |

Ice Hockey (NHL)--Since breaking Mathieu Schneider's all-time Jewish career goals
record, Mike Cammalleri has scored 3 goals and an assist in the last 5 games. As
of March 13, he has 26 points (17 goals and 9 assists) in 49 games this season. In
655 career NHL games, Cammalleri has 483 points (227 goals and 256 assists).
In European hockey action, brothers Adam and Michael Henrich continue their
incredible scoring pace for the Coventry Blaze of the British EIHL. Adam has 65
points (25 goals and 40 assists) and 140 penalty minutes in 43 games, making
this the most productive season of his professional hockey career. Michael has
50 points (16 goals and 34 assists) in 48 contests this season. Evan Kaufmann
