Baseball (MLB):

Danny Valencia has a hot bat for the Oakland A's. Thus far this season, he's got 48 hits in 139 at-bats in 38 games for a whopping .345 batting average. Valencia has 9 home runs and 22 runs-batted-in thus far in 2016.


Basketball (Israeli Elite League):

On June 1, Hapoel Jerusalem edged Hapoel Tel Aviv 86-84 in the fifth and final game of the quarter finals in the playoffs, to earn a berth in the Final Four. Bar Timor scored 8 points for Jerusalem and Raviv Limonad scored 16 points for Tel Aviv in that game.



Rabbi Yuri Foreman scored a TKO over his opponent Jason Davis in the second round on June 3, 2016. His career pro record is 34-2, and as an Orthodox Rabbi, his record is 2-0.


Ice Hockey (AHL):

In Calder Cup finals action, The Lake Erie Monsters defeated the Hershey Bears 4-1 in the first game of the series, on June 1. They beat them 5-3 in the second game, on June 3. Carter Camper recorded an assist for Hershey in the second game.


Women's Kayak:

On June 4, Jessica Fox of Australia won the gold medal in the C1 division in the World Cup in Ivrea, Italy
