Basketball (NBA):

Jordan Farmar's team, the Memphis Grizzlies, have had their troubles and have met their match in the first two playoff games against the Spurs, in San Antonio, Texas. On April 17, the Grizzlies lost to the Spurs, 74-106. Farmar started the game, and he scored 6 points, grabbed 2 rebounds, and dished out 2 assists in 22 minutes of playing time. On April 19, he was in the starting rotation again, and scored 8 points, grabbed 1 rebound, and dished out 2 assists in 31 minutes, as the Grizzlies went into hibernation, losing 68-94.

Women's Basketball (Israeli Elite League):

On April 18, Maccabi Ashdod made it a "three-peat" and won their the league championship for the third consecutive season. They took the best-of-five series down to the wire, winning the final game 78-72 over Maccabi Ramat Chen. Shay Doron led Ashdod with 16 points, and Naama Shafir scored 18 points for Ramat Chen.

Ice Hockey (AHL):

Carter Camper and the Hershey Bears are set to take on the Portland (Maine) Pirates in the first round of the Calder Cup playoffs, which begin on April 22.
