Men's Basketball (NBA)
Omri Casspi of the Houston Rockets has been having an up and down week.
On Dec 20 he recorded just 3 points and 2 rebounds in a loss to Indiana. The
following night Casspi scored 13 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished off 7
assists in the Rockets victory over Detroit. On Dec 23, in a home loss to Dallas,
Casspi managed 3 points and 3 rebounds, and on Dec 25 he scored 7 points as
the Rockets grounded the Spurs in San Antonio.
Women's Basketball
After a stellar start to the season in which Elitzur Ramle won its first 8 games, they lost to Ramat Hasharon, 64-75. Naama Shafir had 8 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists in 30 minutes of playing time.
Women's Collegiate Ten pin Bowling
Omitted a score earlier in the month. Liat Vizenfeld helped Fairleigh Dickinson
University to their 6-2 won-loss record in the North East Conference meet #2 of
the season by rolling a beautiful 246 game, second highest on the Knights in
that event.
Ice Hockey (NHL)
As of Dec 23, Mike Cammalleri scored 20 points (12 goals and 8 assists) in 29
games for the Calgary Flames this season. His career totals are 222 goals and
255 assists in 635 games. Mathieu Schnieder's career totals were 223 goals
and 520 assists in 1289 games.
