Apple Delight, Iranian (Paludeh Seeb)
applesSource: Article written by Eve Jochnowitz

Serves:4 to 5 4 medium apples
2 tbsp. lemon juice OR lime juice, freshly squeezed
4 to 6 tbsp. powdered sugar
2 tsp. rosewater
4 ice cubes or crushed ice
A dash of salt Pare and grate the apples.

Sprinkle each apple immediately with lemon juice after grating to prevent apples from darkening (Slight darkening is not objectionable). Add sugar and rosewater. Stir lightly. Add crushed ice cubes, which serve to chill and dilute the mixture. The finished product is "delicate and rewarding." Serve in ice cream dishes. Poster's Notes:
You might like to serve this for Tu b'shvat. It is a great light and refreshing! I found this on the Internet, and made the additions of missing ingredients like the dash of salt, and crushed ice, not ice cubes like the author mentioned.
