Princess Street Synagogue
The Princes Street Synagogue opened in 1885, although there was a Jewish community in Auckland since the 1840s.  In 1967 the congregation moved from Princess Street to the present site in Greys Avenue. The Princess Street edifice has been converted for use as a branch of the National Bank.
